The word “dialogue” refers specifically to a two-way communication, and we think that’s critically important for marketers to keep in mind. It means we LISTEN to customers as much as we send them messages … and that’s central to our philosophy.

Too often marketers talk AT or TO their customers. That may be communication but it’s only in one direction – clearly NOT a dialogue.

Our work is based on an exchange with the marketplace. We listen to customers’ needs and desires, their values, attitudes and beliefs, their behaviors, habits and practices – and then respond to those inputs.

It’s all about satisfying the needs and wants, not about pushing what we have on our prospects and customers – a true dialogue.
