We understand that the cost of professional marketing advice is a major consideration. And the most expensive consultants are usually the ones who give ho-hum advice, charge ho-hum fees, and expect YOU to somehow convert their work into your bottom-line profit.

We won’t do that. It’s bad business for us, and it’s certainly bad business for you.

We always deliver A+ work for our clients, and we do it at a fixed cost that’s commensurate with the value of the project. We don’t work on an hourly or per-diem basis – that just undermines the A+ attitude and commitment. It motivates us to be inefficient, and it charges the client for the time they spend bringing the consultant up to speed on their business. (Do you like to pay more when the project takes longer than expected? That can always be arranged. )

Each project is considered carefully before we even prepare a proposal. We want to know what you want, what it will take to deliver that A+, and what the real value of our work will be.

 

A pleasant surprise

 

Sometimes when we quote the fixed fee, we suggest the option to come in over - or under-budget by, say, 15%. More often than not, when we do that, we come in at or under the quoted project fee. (We love the excitement when a client sees that the project will cost less than they expected.) And if the client wants to expand the project mid-stream, they can often avoid a lengthy internal approval process for the additional cost because they’ve already built-in a small cushion. If it looks like a project will run over budget, we always alert the client in advance and let THEM make the decision. It’s never a last-minute surprise.

 

Fees that are fair

 

We’ve been consulting for a while now, and we know the value of a satisfied client. We understand that fees that are fair in both directions are a large part of the reason to select one consultant over another, and a key element in establishing a long and mutually-rewarding business relationship.

Getting A+ work is the only thing more important.
